Check In:

Each adult must check in the participating camper. Each adult must sign-in and sign-out each day of camp as it's our University policy. The location of the check-in is TBD as we work on an efficient location for all parties involved. Each camper will receive a T-Shirt upon checking in on the first day.

Schedule:

We'll start at 8AM each day and end at 12PM each day, we'll start off in the women's practice gym and end each day in the women's practice gym. We'll have an ample amount of signage pointing everyone to the correct gyms. Our daily camp schedule will consist of games, drills, stations and more. Depending the grade level, you'll find different grades doing different stuff throughout the week. Our main goal is to provide a safe and fun environment that involves the sport of basketball.

Workers:

Our camp workers will include our current women's basketball players, practice players, managers, and student athletes at the University of Utah. Our staff will be present as well. We'll also have medical staff onsite in our gyms.

Refunds:

Prior to today, I was refunding people fully at 100%. However now that our expenses are locked in I can only promise a 50% refund up to two weeks prior to camp.

What To Bring:

  • We encourage campers to bring a water bottle with their name written on it. We'll have water and Gatorade stations located throughout each gym as well. As a reminder, there is no food provided at our camp.
  • Please wear Gym Shoes each day
  • No Basketballs are needed as we provide basketballs. Campers will be able to take home one Youth Basketball on the last day of camp. The sizes of the basketballs will vary between size 5 and size 6. It's not a requirement to take home a basketball if you do not want one.

Theme Days:

Similar to last year we will have theme days where the campers can participate if they would like to. The following days below will be the themes.

June 24th - Utah Red Day / Crazy Sock Day

June 25th - Wacky Hair Day

June 26th - Jersey Day

June 27th - Camp T-Shirt Day

Last Day / End of Each Day

Our players and staff will be available for autographs and pictures on the last day of camp. We'll likely end the daily schedule around 11:00 on the last day and have 30 minutes of photo's / autographs until 11:30AM that Thursday.

It's also important that campers are picked up promptly after 11:30AM as we have a completely different camp starting at 1PM each day.

I'll be sending out the official parking map hopefully in Camp Update #2, we are still working on the logistics of it all as our campus undergoes construction in the summer. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to contact me. We look forward to hosting our largest Red Runt Camp ever!
